Conference on the Science and technology Policy Instruments (STPI)) project forty years later

In August 2013 there was a meeting in Lima and Paracas, Peru, to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the STPI project, the first, large-scale comparative research project on science and technology policies in developing countries, which was carried out during 1973-1979. Fifteen members of the original STPI network took place in the event, as well as another fifteen younger researcher to engage in dialogue regarding the implications of the STPI project four decades later.
