Forty years of the STPI project: looking back to move forward

An event to examine the impact of the STPI project on science and technology for development took place in 2013. This Project was carried out between 1973 and 1979, and gathered researchers and policy makers from ten developing countries, most of whom gathered in Lima and Paracas forty years after the Project began. The book that summarizes the key ideas of the STPI Project and the deliberations forty years later can be accessed and obtained here.
