Tenth anniversary of FINCyT/InnovatePeru

The tenth anniversary of InnovatePERU (previously FINCyT), the program that supports research and development activities with resources from an Inter-American Development Bank and the Peruvian Treasury, celebrated its tenth anniversary. I had the privilege of being the first Chairman of the Board of Governors of this program, a position I held in to occasions for a total of five years. During my presentation I had the opportunity of highlighting the extraordinary contributions to Peruvian scientific and technological development by professionals such as Alberto Giesecke, Alberto Beneavides and José Valdez Calle, who was present at the event.
