Presentation of the book The Crystal Pot (“La olla de cristal”) by Mirko Lauer

Mirko Lauer’s new book, The Crystal Pot: looking at the future of Peruvian gastronomy, was launched on December 3, 2012. I was one of the speakers commenting on this useful and beautiful book, which examines the possible futures of Peruvian gastronomy. In addition to an excellent essay by Mirko Lauer, the book contains several valuable interviews with personalities involved in Peruvian gastronomy, which present a diversity of perspectives, ranging from culinary, economic, cultural and social through the design of restaurants and eating utensils.
