Launching of the second edition of Science, Technology, Innovation. Policies for Latin America

The second edition of my book Ciencia, Tecnología, Innovación. Políticas para América Latina (Science, Technology, Innovation. Policies for Latin America) was published by the Fondo de Cultura Economica in December 2013. Following presentations of the first edition in Lima, Bogota, Mexico City, San José, Buenos Aires and Madrid, in June 2014 the second edition was presented in Montevideo, Uruguay. The UNESCO Regional Office for Latin America, directed by Lidia Brito, and the Universidad de La República, whose Rector is Rodrigo Arocena, sponsored the launch. In addition to these two personalities, Susana Mallo, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, commented the book.
