Development, technology and culture

The Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS), organized a lecture series on issues related to culture, technology and development at their headquarters in Potsdam, Germany. My participation consisted in delivering a public lecture and making a presentation in an academic colloquium. The subjects that I focused on were how to redefine development and progress in the post-Baconian age, and the development implications of the emerging fractured global order, both of which are part of my current research efforts.
