Consultative Commission on Science and Technology for the Peruvian Government

In October 2011 I was invited to join a Consultative Commission established by Supreme Decree by the President of the Republic and the Minister of Education. Dr. Gisella Orjeda chaired the Commission and its other members were Benjamín Marticorena, Fernando Villarán, Santiago Roca and Victor Carranza. We were given three months to prepare our report, and our mandate was to offer a diagnosis of the current situation and to propose strategic guidelines to create and consolidate capacities in science, technology and innovation.
