Evaluation of Support for Innovation Systems in Developing Countries

The Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) published the evaluation of the support that this institution provides for the creation and consolidation of innovation systems in developing countries. I had the opportunity of participating in this evaluation, which was carried out by a team under the leadership of Amitav Rath. The lessons of this evaluation can be generally applied to initiatives that support innovation systems, for it refers to a successful program that was executed between 1997 and 2011.
