Launching of the book This was Elsa (“Así era Elsa”)

Bertha de León’ book This was Elsa, which is about my late mother Elsa Hochhausler de Sagasti, was launched on January 11, 2013 at the Peruvian North American Institute in Miraflores, Lima. It was a beautiful event with the participation of more than 100 people, in which I was able to notice the appreciation of many friends and persons who knew the newspaper and magazine articles she wrote for many years, even though Elsa left Peru more than four decades ago. In addition to Bertha de León, the author of the book, Jennie Vasquez Solis and I spoke about Elsa. Both Bertha and Jennie were colleagues and friends of my mother when they wrote in various newspapers and magazines.
